Caririenses craftsmen from eleven communities received guidance of designers of the "Experiences" Project of Araripe Geopark. The workshops were organized in October by SEBRAE Ceará, in partnership with Cariri Regional University (URCA), through Araripe Geopark and with the support of Ceará Design Association.

The goal is to define the references that will guide the craft production to be sold in Araripe Geopark Geosites, and other distribution points. The Experience will help craft groups in developing geoproduct collections that meet the criteria for geoconservation, geoeducation, geotourism and sustainability set by the Global Network of National Geoparks (GGN).
