Identifying Genre

The films tend to have familiar setting or characteristic features which are related to the genre and well recognised within the pubic and audience eye.

There are certain expectation of horror films and the types of things which happen in within this genre. The audience have expectations which may be for filled, for example they might try guessing what is going to happen next.

There are certain types of shots, props, locations and setting which will be expected due to the genre. The trailer will include key components of genre conventions which are easily recognized and associated with horror films. The back drops, edits music and lighting is all curtail to make the trailer successful .
