I’ve always thought that General Mills is a great place to work because I’m able to learn, grow, develop and contribute AND have my life. General Mills has been with me through grad school, having a baby, adopting a baby, and now going through a divorce and being a single mom. I would have never made it through all these life transitions had it not been for the culture of General Mills that has supported me and allowed me to keep growing through it all. Of course I identify closely with what the company stands for, yet I think my kids are direct beneficiaries of the company’s culture, philosophy and policies – and because of General Mills, their lives are better. When Mama’s happy, everyone’s happy.
