Job Purpose:
A Pick/Pack Associate is responsible for preparing orders for shipping. Work orders will be assigned
using a scanning system and provide at the beginning of each shift.
Key Responsibilities and Accountability:
• Ensure on-time shipments.
• Meet shipping expectations for pallet and trade show orders.
• Meet Quality and inventory expectations.
• Meet all required shipping deadlines.
• Replenish stock in all product locations making sure the right product is in the right locations.
• Move inventory to various locations using pallet jack, handcart fork lift.

duties (cleaning railings, machines, windows, etc.), performing various daily checks, snow
removal, lawn / yard maintenance. Project work may include building, fabricating, painting,
repairing, running errands, and assisting peers with general handyman work as required. This
position requires the following proficiencies:
Remove garbage / recycling, and damaged wooden pallets from production and
warehouse work areas using carts and/or forklift to dispose in scrap bins. This requires
some lifting and endurance, working indoors and outdoors in all seasons.
General custodial services using various cleaning supplies and equipment, including
operation of ride-on floor cleaner (Zamboni), and scissor lift as certified in production
and warehouse as scheduled.
Snow removal and grounds maintenance as required, using municipal vehicle &
sweeping / snow removal attachments, snow blower, shovel, de-icing, lawn mower, leaf
blower, etc..
Assist Maintenance Lead Hand and/or peers with various project work, general
construction, preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs as required.
Backfill for custodian during vacation or absence, or as required.
Implement and maintain 5S housekeeping principles at all times.
Cross-train in other departments as available.
All tools and equipment are company supplied, including PPE and subsidy for boots.
About You:
The successful candidate(s) must be willing to learn, open-minded and flexible, organized and

with the following qualifications:
Previous experience working safely in a manufacturing environment equipment in a

Monitor parts and assemblies throughout our production processes.
Ensure recorded date, required to verify that parts or components conform to the
specified requirements, is filed and maintained, as required or delivered to
receiving with the parts of components as applicable.
Process ECN’s and review system requirements to ensure previous drawings are
removed and replaced with current revisions.
Perform and record cycle counts.
Containment and disposition of identified non-conforming purchased parts.
Promote and participate in Continuous Improvement, such as Lean
Manufacturing and 5S principles and objectives etc., in conjunction with Materials
Manager and Materials Team Leader.
Cross functional training within the department.
Attend various training courses or programs is required.
Assist other departments as directed by the Materials Manager or Materials
Team Leader.
Other duties as required.

SUMMARY
A Plant Laborer works in a manufacturing facility and performs general labor tasks within and around the plant.
Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Safety
Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures by using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task, while maintaining an orderly and clean work area.
Follow all company policies and safety regulations for safe working procedures and environment Observes all safety rules and regulations including use of personal protective equipment and
material handling.
Performs specific tasks as assigned by production supervisors which may include:
Lift, carry, and hold materials, tools, and supplies Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, fork
lift, hand truck and/or electric pallet jack, as appropriate. Loads materials and pallets into vehicles to prevent shifting or damage in transit. Conveys materials from storage sites to designated loading area. Works on production line to make anodes using anode mixing equipment and moulds. Works at mixing and bagging equipment station to make conductive concrete and dispense into
55 pound bags.
Paperwork
Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Counts and records number of units of materials moved or handled, breakage and spoilage on
appropriate sheets. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases and other
containers. Counts, packs and inspects finished product for correct label, cleanliness, and integrity. Monitors, completes, and maintains efficient and accurate paperwork as needed.
