At Carolina Mall, there will be literacy activities and books will be provided for all in attendance.

International Literacy Association Events Celebrate Literacy Day - September 8
Read for the Record - October 19 World Read Aloud Day - February 1

What is GCRA? GCRA strives to provide literacy opportunities to children, educators, and schools in Cabarrus County in order to create and support life long readers and writers. We accomplish these goals through professional development, literacy events, and community partnerships: Target, Concord Rotary, Chick-fil-A, Books-A-Million, Carolina Mall, Crazy Eight, The Wine Room, PENC, and SECU.
What are the benef its of joining GCRA? • Your GCRA membership includes a
membership to NCRA at no additional cost.
• Membership is tax deductible. • Receive annual State Reading
Conference information and discounted registration fees.
