Joint Polytechnic Admissions Exercise (JPAE)
Students must obtain minimum qualifying
GPA (2.0 for Higher Nitec; 3.5 for Nitec) to be eligible for
progression to the Polytechnics.
Nitec graduates are also eligible progress to Higher Nitec
if they meet the minimum qualifying
GPA (2.3 for Engineering and ICT; 2.8 for Business and
Services).
Net Cumulative GPA (including ITE CCA bonus points) is used
for admissions into the Polytechnics.

Release of DPP Posting results
• 1st phase DPP posting results will be released on
26 Dec 2017 @ 9 am.
• Students who receive a DPP offer are required to
log on to the ITE application portal between 9.00
am on 26 December 2017 and 3.00 pm on 28
December 2017 to accept or reject the DPP offer.

Application for PFP• Application for PFP will commence in January
2018, on the day when the results of the GCE Ordinary Level Examinations are released. On the same day, students eligible for the PFP will receive a copy of Form P, inviting you to apply for the PFP.
• Students interested in applying to the PFP shouldfirst progress to Secondary 5 on 2 January 2018, while waiting for the outcome of the PFP posting.

•If their application is successful, they will withdraw from Sec 5 by the
end of January 2018. All PFP-bound students are required to attend
classes up till the last Friday of January.
• Please note: Being eligible to apply for the PFP does not guarantee
a successful placement into a PFP course.
•For students who are only interested in the DPP:
•should apply for the DPP once they receive their N(A)-Level results in
December. Should they accept a DPP offer, they should not return to
their secondary schools for Sec 5N(A).

•If you are certain that you do not want to continue with Sec 5 and
pursue the GCE O-Levels, you may apply for the DPP in December.
Upon the release of the GCE O-Level results in January, eligible
students may apply for the PFP. If you are offered and accept a PFP
place, you may withdraw from the DPP.
Alternatively,
•You may progress to Sec 5 first. Upon release of the GCE O-Level
results in January, you may then apply for the PFP and DPP
concurrently.

Other InformationAppeal for Review of GCE ‘N’ Level Result
• Collect appeal forms from Mr. Trevor by the end of today
• Appeal form must be commented and endorsed by Principal and subject teachers
• Pay fee of $112.35 per subject appeal (inclusive of 7% GST)
• Appeal not later than 22 Dec 2017
• Students who do not have a strong ground for submitting an appeal should be discouraged from doing so
• Outcome will be released by 29 January 2018

printed correctly on your result slips as the same
personal particulars will be printed on your

administration charge of S$50 per certificate.
