He is currently attending college at the University of Texas at Dallas and is working his way toward a BA in Art & Performance. Eli has been in seven musical performances, recently including Side Show, the Musical and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change at UTD. He would like to thank his professors from UTD for encouraging him to get out there and take the opportunity to be a part of this. Giovanny Arcibar was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Garland, Texas. He began to take an interest in theatre during his junior year of high school. This is his second musical production, with The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee being the first. He's a happy, fun, shy person and is eager to do more musicals in the future. Sue Birch is thrilled to have this opportunity to direct Little Mary Sunshine. Previous directing credits include Peacemaker (Leon Rabin nomination), The Sleeping Beauty, The Frog Prince, Snow White, Jack & The Beanstalk, Cinderella, Aladdin, Little Red Riding Hood, Puss In Boots and Babes In The Wood, all for Theatre Britain, where she serves as Artistic Director. Mary Compton is proud to be a member of the Rover board. Donald Cook’s first appeared at Rover as Thurston Howell III in Gilligan’s Island: the Musical. Locally he played Alfred P Doolittle in My Fair Lady with the Rockwall Community Players. Cox Building Playhouse

September 1-24

Robin Coulonge has been working professionally in theatre since 1990. She graduated from UNT with a BA in theatre in 1992, where she acted in many plays and did every kind of backstage job possible. She enjoys doing prop design because she gets to do a little of everything. Best show to prop is still Gilligan Island: the Musical with Rover. She thanks Abby for being the best set designer to work with on dressing a set! Darien Graham is pleased to join the Rover team for a third time this year. Beginning his technical career at the ripe old age of 12, Darien has previously worked both lights and sound for Valley Performing Arts and Colony High School, both in Alaska. His career goals include photography and video production. He'd like to thank his parents for the constant rides, and his God for the strength and support. Don Hall is pleased to be a part of his first “Rover experience.” He is usually across the way at the Cox Building Playhouse, doing wigs for Theater Britain. Productions include Vincent River, Puss in Boots, and Babes in the Woods. Many thanks to Sue, Rick and Mary! This is Kenneth Hall’s first show with Rover. He is a student at Stephen F. Austin University and has been in theatre since his junior year of high school. Currently studying Criminal Justice, Kenneth hopes to be a forensic scientist someday. A native of Dallas, Steve Hall attended Texas A&M University - Commerce with an emphasis on Music Composition and Percussion Performance. During his young career, he has played with luminaries such as Harry Connick, Jr., Marvin Stamm, Allen Vizzutti, and Grammy winners Elijah, Larnelle Harris, Wintley Phipps and a host of other national acts. Steve’s musical compositions and arrangements for orchestra and jazz bands can be heard throughout the world.

Melissa Hildenbrand started backstage at age 14 working with Robin Coulonge in Nothing Serious, a series of short plays presented by CUUC Plano. Since then, she's stagehanded for Rover’s presentations of Around the World in 80 Days and Days of Wine and Roses, as well as the occasional One Day Only. Her powers of near-invisibility aid in the many set changes she encounters, as well as her ability to sneeze very quietly. Tiffany Hillert was first introduced to the stage as a dancer at the age of eight. She’s done quite a lot, from high kick to belly dance, and a good deal of swing dancing. After moving from her hometown of San Antonio to Fort Worth, she attended Texas Christian University and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy. She’s played a messenger and brutal guard in 1984, the Ghost of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol with the Stolen Shakespeare Guild, a West Coast Swing dancer in Artisan Center Theater’s Swing!, and cleaned up as Florence Unger with Duncanville Community Theater in the female version of The Odd Couple. “Dancing is like dreaming with your feet…Dream Big!” Larry M. Jansson is thrilled to be working with Rover Dramawerks again! Born and raised in Southern California, Larry began his dance career while working for “The Mouse.” During his eight years with the Walt Disney Company, Larry was able to choreograph and perform in various stage shows and musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. His training at California State - San Bernardino and The Pacific Ballet Company ignited his passion for dance. Larry then developed theater and dance programs in various community theaters throughout Southern California and still teaches Musical Theater Dance at The Plano Dance Theater! Larry has choreographed, produced and directed over 65 shows including, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Annie, Pirates of Penzance, Oliver! and The Children of Eden to name a few. Larry would like to thank the Little Mary Sunshine cast for all of their hard work and dedication to living in the land of skittles and rainbows! He would also like to Thank God for the ability to dance! “I would only believe in a God that knows how to dance.” Friedrich Nietzsche Abigail Kipp is glad to be scenic designing for Rover again. She likes long walks on the beach, playing with power tools and painting with odd implements. Some of her scenic designs include Tuesdays with Morrie (New Stage Theatre), The Crowd You’re in With, and Sunday in New York (Rover). “Thank you Rover for indulging my insanity on this design (again) and thanks to the cast and army of children that helped out.” She looks forward to working with Rover again soon. Kelsey Kruse is thrilled to be working with Rover Dramawerks again! Kelsey graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BFA in Theater Performance. Since moving to Dallas in September, she has been seen at Rover Dramawerks as Eileen (Sunday in New York), Rover's One Day Only play festival as Denise (Busted), and at the Rotunda Theater as Julia (The Old Beginning). She would like to thank Sue, Larry, and Mary for making her appear to be dainty, the Eastchester Finishing School girls for all the giggles, and her family and friends for their endless support. Life is Good!

Mary Tiner is pleased to be returning to the Rover Dramawerks stage. Her previous roles here have been Mrs.Toothe in Everything in the Garden and Louise in Dilemmas With Dinner. Her other local stage experience includes the roles of Abby Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace at the McKinney Repertory Theatre, Mrs. Boyle in The Mousetrap at Garland Civic Theatre, and Edith in First Baptist of Ivy Gap at ICT. Art definitely imitates life in this musical for Mary, as she is a former opera singer and has sung in Austria. She wishes to thank family, friends, cast and crew for their love and support. She also wishes to dedicate her performances to the memory of her husband’s grandmother, Eloise Grove, who was also a former opera singer, and performed the role of Carmen. This is Rick Tuman's second stint as a producer, having produced 2009’s My Way. This time around, Rick is co-producing with Mary Compton (aka Mary C. to those in-the-know) and thanks her for saying yes when he asked her to sign-on for the show. Rick is an area director, actor, UIL adjudicator and educator, who is associate theatre faculty at Collin College. As always, he thanks his wife Nichelle for her patience and support as he spends time away from home with “the mistress theatre.” He dedicates this show to his mother, Gloria, who lives in Florida. She loves musicals and if she lived closer, would attend. “Thanks to a great team for making this a successful production.” Bishop Wash, who is thought of as one of the greatest actors of his time, was born in Dallas, Texas in 1995 to an improv comedian and his wife. He first gained fame for his role in Beauty and the Beast (2008), but he gained his reputation as a volatile actor in Graphic Novelties (2010) as the ever dashing Bruce Wayne. Bishop Is currently a member of the Allen High School varsity show choir “Encore” and is an anchor for the daily school newscast (KGLE3 News). Bishop is very excited to be working with Rover again, this time as Hank, the suave, daring, masculine Forest Ranger. Bishop swears to it that as long as he draws the warm breath of life into his lungs, this play will not be his last! Amy Wells loves working around massage tables to avoid waiting tables. She is happy to be back on a Rover stage, where she performed Alice in Morphic Resonance, and Louise in Everything in the Garden. Amy holds a BFA in Musical Theater with a minor in vocal performance from UNT. Other stages she has graced are the Pocket Sandwich Theater, Lyric Stage, Artisan Theater Center, Garland Summer Musicals, Music Theater of Denton, Denton Community Theater and Casa Manana. “Hugs and many thanks to my family from Central Texas, Iowa and Tennessee for making the trip to show all your love and support!” Over the past forty years, Ben Westfried has put his hand to many aspects of theater, from acting to stage management, to playwriting, to directing to publicity. For twenty-five of those years he called the award-winning Repertory Theatre of New Britain, Connecticut his home. Here in Texas, he was featured at the Garland Civic Theater where he played Captain Peacock in Are You Being Served?, the Southern swindler Foxhall in The Beverly Hillbillies, Police Inspector LeDoux in Phantom, and the father in Come Blow Your Horn, for which he was nominated for a Column Award. He portrayed Fagin in Richardson Theatre Centre’s production of Oliver!, Selsdon in Noises Off! and Joe Benjamin in God’s Favorite. Here at Rover he played both the sheriff and the bad guy in A Murder, a Mystery and a Marriage. Ben has acted professionally in commercials and movies and learned stage management at the Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court in London, England. The father of two grown sons, Ben is a retired school teacher. He is grateful to Pilar, his wife of 39 years, for her forbearance and sacrifice, enabling him to pursue his passion for theater, even when it conflicted with her passion for shopping.

So in a nutshell, she has just graduated from Plano Senior High and will be flying off to the real world to go to college at Arizona State. This is her last show for Rover and although she is one of the youngest members of the crew, she has had fun as a senior tech trusted with the most important tasks...which means the most work. “I love everyone at Rover and I will miss you dearly!” Elizabeth Saxe is thrilled to be making her debut with Rover!
