Rover's Mission Searching for treasures, new and rediscovered,

for theatre "off the beaten path."

Rover Dramawerks produces lost or forgotten works of well-known authors, revives excellent scripts that have suffered from lack of exposure,

and discovers unknown gems of the stage.

Who's Who Sunday in New York marks Justin Amos' first production with Rover Dramawerks, and he cannot be more excited to be a part of it. He is currently a sophomore at Southern Methodist University pursuing a BFA in Theatre Studies with an emphasis in directing. Past acting work has included Lone Star (SMU), The Angelina Project (Guy P. Yates Theatre), and Clue (Plano Children's Theatre). Past directing work has included Carol Mulroney (Threshold Theatre Company), The Pillowman (SMU), and Almost, Maine (SMU). Justin currently serves as the Artistic Director and is a founding company member of Threshold Theatre Company in Dallas. He would like to thank all involved in the production for their hard work, dedication, and talent. This is Matthew Clark's debut at Rover Dramawerks and he is proud to have collaborated with the cast and designers to bring Sunday in New York to life. Last year he was seen onstage in Once More, With Feeling (Second Thought Theatre) and Nuptials (Artisan Center Theater), as well as participating in an Internet mini-series and a staged reading. He hopes this year will be as artistically lucrative and is pleased with how it has started so far. His favorite credits include the World Premiere of Holy Mother of God, as well as City of Angels and The Shadow Box at Baylor University. He is a company member with Rite of Passage Theatre Company, whose next production Technically Related will be a part of the 2011 Out of the Loop Fringe Festival at Water Tower Theatre. A two time Column award winner, Richard Frohlich has designed sound for more than 50 productions at over a dozen area theaters since 2005. Richard is pleased return to Rover for his third production and has enjoyed working with Mark and this fun and talented cast and crew. In 2001 he founded the award-winning Texas Radio Theatre Company. In addition to sound design, Richard is a video producer, graphic and flash animation designer specializing in vocational and training programs. He makes his home in Arlington, Texas with his wife Shannan and their three children.

Mark C Guerra is very excited to be directing for Rover Dramawerks. He's directed for Rover's One Day Only twice before and also for Mesquite Community Theatre twice before. His next project is Pinkalicious: The Musical for C.A.T.S. in Arlington. When he's not directing or acting, Mark is molding the youth of tomorrow as a Theatre Arts teacher at Bill Arnold Middle School in Grand Prairie. Big thanks to Jason and Carol for giving me a chance, to Sonya, my A.D./S.M. for helping me keep my head on straight, and to my father for helping me to always be able to do what I love. Sonya Jones graduated from Emerson College with a BA in Theatre Education. She is delighted to be working on her fourth show at Rover Dramawerks. In addition to stage management, Sonya is also a Drama Instructor for Rover Classwerks. When she is not teaching or working in theatre, Sonya can be found training her parakeet to skateboard. Terrie Justus has been a part of Rover since 2002, as a performer, properties designer, producer and board member. She has performed in Lady Windermere’s Fan, two productions of War of the Worlds, Greasy Spork, at WaterTower’s Out of the Loop Festival, Little Footsteps, The Runner Stumbles, and in the title role in Veronica’s Room, for which she achieved critical acclaim. She served as producer for Rover’s first production of Morphic Resonance in 2003, as well as for Days of Wine and Roses, and Everything in the Garden. Terrie designed props for Claptrap, Spider’s Web, Love from a Stranger, Surviving Grace, The Runner Stumbles, and The Star Spangled Girl. Abigail Kipp is proud to be making her debut with Rover. She is new to the Dallas area, though not to the theatre. She has previously scenic designed Shadowlands, Tuesdays with Morrie, and Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, to name a few. She has enjoyed working with Rover and looks forward to working with them more.

K’Lee Kuopus performed in multiple plays while attending Allen High School. She is currently studying to be a teacher at Collin College. She looks forward to working with Rover in the future. Kelsey Kruse was born and raised in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and recently graduated from Oklahoma State University with a BFA in Theatre Performance. Kelsey moved to Dallas in early September, and this is her debut performance on the Dallas theatre circuit. She would like to thank her former professors, especially Matthew Tomlanovich, for all of the encouragement and inspiration to move to Dallas, as well as her parents for supporting this crazy career choice. A BIG thank-you to Mark Guerra for giving Kelsey her first opportunity to act in Dallas, as well as Rover Dramawerks, her amazing family and friends (just too many wonderful people to name), and the cast and crew for all of the "smutty jokes," laughs, and enlightenment. Kelsey is so grateful to be doing what she loves - Life is Good! Chester Maple is excited to be back on the Rover Stage after a successful turn as "The Waiter" in Rover's production of Adventures in Mating. Previous to his Dallas stage experience, Chester work successfully in Los Angeles, both in front of and behind the camera. Everything from Starship Troopers, That Thing You Do, and ALI, to Townies (TV), Friends (TV), and Mad About You (TV). With years of training under his belt, Chester is finally taking the creative leaps required to achieve the next level. Thank you for your attendance. It is greatly appreciated. Paul McKenzie is happy to be invited back to Rover for another fun filled adventure! Paul's costume work has been seen previously on the Rover stage, and he has worked throughout the Metroplex both on and offstage in various capacities. Recently Paul took on a new role when he directed Laura for Mesquite Community Theatre.

Brooks Powers returns to Rover after Morphic Resonance for another lighting design and is excited to be back for his second show! Brooks has had a long term interest in lighting and attended Oklahoma State University where he received his Bachelors in Technical Theatre. Some other shows he has designed include A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Kimberly Akimbo, The School for Wives, and The Mercy Seat. Dustina “Dusty” Reasons has had a silly name and a need to be the center of attention her entire life. After spending six years, lots of money, and countless hours in the theatre receiving her BA in Musical Theatre and MA in Theatre Performance, she finally has a "real job" as director of the Drama Department at Eastfield College, where she gets to do fun theatre things nearly all day long. Her past work includes five years in Branson, Missouri on various stages, performing with Garland Summer Musicals, a Rock Band called Jukebox Heroes, and several commercials in DFW. She would like to thank her family for their patience and encouragement; Einstein the Pug for protecting her home while she is at rehearsal; Mark, the director of SiNY and "Powers that Be" at Rover for taking a chance on a girl with a silly name. Jake Shanahan’s theatre credits include several Black Box productions, A Day in the Life (AIDS benefit show), Phantom of the Opera, Harvey, The Front Porch, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Witness for the Prosecution, and most recently, The Zookeeper's Journal, by Jon Christie. Film credits include the ABC pilot A House Divided, Brushfire Films documentary Genesis of Healing as young Samual Hahneman, and Indie film A Modern Day Lesson in Swordplay. Jake wants to thank Mark Guerra for giving him this opportunity and Rover Dramawerks for all the hard work in making such a brilliant show. “Here's to being yourself by not being yourself. Cheers.”
