Oct 30-31 Washburn – Zombie Days Washburn is going to be officially taken over by Zombies! There is the Give It Up To Dracula Blood Drive. Friday is a pumpkin carving contest at Washburn Hardware & Sport. Get your pumpkins there before the 5pm judging deadline. There will be a city-wide Zombie walk that everyone can do. Saturday brings a day full of activities. Art & craft vendors will be selling all day. Get there at the bewitching hour and you may catch that Zombie Dance! There is the Boogie Up the Hill, a 1 mile bike race up steep Washington Avenue. The "Lion's Club Kid's Carnival" will be at Washburn High School gym following the race. 2pm is the Halloween Parade. 8 International Folk Fair - Eau Claire For over 30 years international folk fair has been one of the largest celebrations of culture and heritage. This celebration includes cultural and educational exhibits, traditional music, dance, clothing, and food from over 40 countries. International students along with community groups participate in the fair. Admission is free.
