GameDayDate
1. The objective of our strategic video is to reach new potential customers. We are
targeting people who have just moved to a new city and have a hard time starting
their social life. We want to reach both males and females who share a love for
sports and their favorite team. Our goal is to increase the members on
GameDayDate.com by 20% and the number of dates by 25 to 40% throughout the
time that the videos our on the Internet.
2. The strategy that we are going to use is; establish a Web series. We are going to start
with the football season and depending on how successful the videos are we will
continue making Web series for other sports; such as soccer, basketball, baseball,
etc.
3. The content of our Web series will be following a man’s relationship after he moved
to a new city and met a girl on GameDayDate.com. The video will start out showing
the man in his apartment unpacking all of his boxes from the move. Then there will
be different scenes showing the man throughout his week being lonely and not
knowing anybody. Fast forward to Sunday. The man is watching a football game and
sees the end of a commercial for GameDayDate.com. He goes to his computer and
sets up an account. The next day he meets a girl and sets up a date. Then there will
be different scenes throughout the week showing the mans anticipation and

excitement for the next game as the week drags by. When the next game day comes
around the man gets ready for his date and heads out to meet the girl to watch the
game. The first video ends with the man meeting the girl and them having a great
time watching and rooting for their favorite team. By the end of the date they decide
that they both would like to go on another date. At the end of the video we will tell
the viewer to either go to GameDayDate.com or the site we have set up specifically
for the Web series to find out what happens next in their relationship. From here we
will make a video for each week of the football season following the couples
relationship. Depending on how successful this Web series is we will continue
making Web series like this for different sports.
4. We plan on having the content on our site as well as other viral sites and a site we
will set up specifically for our Web series with links to GameDayDate.com. We also
plan on having ads for the Web series on ESPN, Youtube, and other websites that
offer highlights and other sports videos. These ads will be displayed as, but not
limited to, banners, pop ups, side banners, and commercials before videos telling
people to follow these two peoples relationship.
5. We believe that this Web series will connect with our consumers because the Web
series conveys a message that this man is just like our consumers. He is alone and in
a new city but thanks to GameDayDate.com he found a girl that he really likes and
was able to start a new relationship in a new city with a little help form the love
they both share for their favorite sports team. We believe that this Web series will
also build our brand as a reputable dating site that can match you with your soul
mate with help from your favorite sports team.
