Galvanizing in UK and Ireland

KOERNER’s kvk-pickling tanks were introduced to the British and Irish galvanizing industry in the early 1990’s.

Among the fi rst clients were: • Joseph Ash – Alpha 1 plant in 1991 (This plant was closed 2005/06)

• Galco Steel Ltd., since 1991 Dublin, Rep. of Ireland

• Ifor Williams, since 1993 Cynwyd, Wales

• Highland Galvanizers, since 1994 Elgin, Scotland

All these pickling and fl ux tanks are still in use after more than 15 years without any signifi cant maintenance or repair.

Due to this long-standing reputation many of the British and Irish Galvanizers have decided to use KOERNER tanks.
