TravellingGalina only supply executive coaches with on-board toilet, air conditioning, DVD/video and seatbelts. The coach will be with the group throughout the tour from pick-up to drop-off.

We advise that:

- All students must listen carefully to the safety instructions given to them by the coach driver, guide (if booked) & representatives at venues, on the Euro Tunnel or at their accommodation

- Accompanying adults are suitably distributed throughout the coach whilst travelling

- Seat belts are worn at all times on the coach

- Whilst travelling on a Euro Tunnel, students are briefed beforehand as to the designated meeting points and any other no go areas such as external decks during bad weather


Executive 49-seater coaches are provided as standard


At Your AccommodationAll accommodation used by Galina has been risk assessed. Details are supplied to the Tour leader in the Final Tour Details pack

Room allocation will be done by the Tour Leader and we advise the group to check each room on arrival and to leave each room as it was found

In France, students need to be made aware of the Noise & Nuisance law from 22.00 hours in the evening


All our Paris Study Tours are half-board


During Your Study Tour

Galina supply a detailed itinerary and a study pack prior to departure. If a guide is booked then he or she will lead the group through the itinerary, delivering the educational content of the tour and assisting with the check-in and travel arrangements

Please be aware of & stick to the timings on the itinerary as these can impact on the coach drivers’ hours


Galina Study Tours provide opportunities for students to learn interactively


Passport

• Pupils will be travelling on a group passport

• Each pupil will be issued with an identity card with the contact name and telephone number of the staff member assigned to them.

9.30pm we will call parents when we stop at Oxford Services.

Hoodies

• You have the opportunity to purchase a trip hoody• It is ideal while we are out and about in Paris that

we can easily recognise our pupils• The hoodies will have a small school logo on the left

hand side and PARIS 2011 on the back. • Prices yet to be confirmed. (Approx. £15.00)


Pupil Bank

• We will operate a bank service for all students on the trip.

• Each morning students will be able to withdraw money for that day.

• We advise that each student takes no more than 75.00 Euros (which is part of their lunch money) and £10.00 in sterling for the return journey.
