    Mass Intentions Mass intentions may be for the living and the departed,with a designating in the bulletin a deceased person. There is a $10suggested donation per Mass intention. Permission from the sick person or his/her family must be granted before a names inclusion in these prayers. Toschedule a Mass intention, call Jean in the parish office.

    Baptism Sacramental preparation is required for all parents. Godparentsand Grandparents are also encouraged to attend. Baptismal prep sessions aregiven every other month and Baptism Masses are held once a month. Call

    Jean in the parish office to schedule a child for Baptism and the parents forbaptismal prep.

    Prayers of the Faithful .If you would like a name included in our Prayers ofthe Faithful for the sick, please call the Parish Office.

    Penance...Saturdays from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and anytime by appointment.

    Anointing If you wish to receive an anointing please call the parish office.

    Communion for the Homebound...When we come together to pray at ourEucharistic liturgy, we do not forget the members of our community who areunable to be with us because of ill health. We remember them in our prayer,and we wish to include them in our Holy Communion. Members of our

    community bring the Blessed Sacrament to them to comfort them and to unitethem with us in the Eucharist. We are not always aware of those who have thisneed. Please call the Parish Office to let us know if you or a member of yourfamily would like to have Holy Communion brought to them. That way we canschedule a time for our ministers to visit and bring the Sacrament.

    Hospital, Nursing Home, Homebound Visits...Churches are no longernotified by hospitals or nursing homes when a parishioner is admitted unlessthe family has requested it. If you or a family member are homebound,hospitalized or in a nursing home and would like a visit from a member of thepastoral ministry staff, please call Jean Rief in the parish office.

    Dennis Meyer & Bob Ohnsorg of the Knights of Columbus present two checks totaling $1,824

    from the profits of their pancake breakfasts, to Fr. Doug and Gary VanEyll. The donations areto help pay for the new boiler and the repair of stove's pilot lights in the school kitchen.

    All boys & girls ages 10-14 are invited toparticipate in the local level of competitionfor the 2012 Knights of Columbus FreeThrow Champion! The local competition will

    Collection for the GA Parish....The money collected will be used to

    replenish the Tuition Assistance Fund

    for several qualifying students each

    year....We know the need for next year is going

    Bumping Into God Outside of Church

    The Active Older Adults (AOAs) for Christ

    is hosting a special event for all adults on

    Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the

    Chaska Community Center Theater. Father

    Tim Powers will be speaking on Bumping into

    God Outside of Church. Powers is a well

    known presenter and his message will be an

    enlightening and enjoyable journey that will

    touch on everyones spiritual side.

    Prior to this speaking event the AOAs for

    Christ will host a coffee, punch and cookie

    social at the CCC Lodgestarting at 6 p.m.

    This AOA for Christ

    event is free of charge

    with donations being

    accepted to the local Bountiful

    Basket Food Shelf of Eastern

    Carver County.
