Regulation in the US“Bad Actors: A Heated Debate”

- @casinocityvin of Casino City Times

Rover: Decision sooner rather than later on “cleansing” of bad acts. Sounds like a PokerStars decision is imminent.

- @OPReport of Online Poker Report

“When we deliver a viable, good product, that’s going to eliminate unregulated sites, says Shuetz

“It is a privilege to get a license. The bad actor provision should be decided

from state to state.” – George Rover, New Jersey Assistant Attorney General

“California is a ways away from properly considering regulating. There are multiple issues that need to be sorted out first. At the current time,

unregulated sites are more efficient than the regulated ones.” – Richard Shuetz, Commissioner of the California Gaming Control Board

Affiliates are responsible for about 30% of acquired iGaming customers, therefore strong controls are needed as they are the face of the industry.

Rover plans to roll out a policy in New Jersey in the near future that will enforce strong controls on affiliates and unregulated sites.

A compact between Rover (New Jersey) and Shuetz (California) is not likely to happen in the near future. Rover estimates it will take a

minimum of 2-3 years.
