Prescription Drug Abuse

The Problem

Prescription drug abuse among youth ages 12-17 in Boston

Abuse includes:

● Self-medicating

● Taking a prescribed medication differently

than prescribed, including using others’

prescriptions

● Taking a medication to experience euphoria
