LEADERSHIP
Luvo Gila’s stronghold in the energy sector, draws from his activity in academic and commercial spaces. He has conducted research on policy and social development initiatives by Oxfam, Gauteng’s provincial legislature. He has served as a private consultant for NSI Consultants, a Florida-based firm that has advised on projects across the societal spectrum. Furthermore, Luvo’s experience has equipped him with concept development and capital generation competencies of project management.
His activity in the energy field comes in the form of his continual role as a consultant. On key energy projects. Concentrated in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa, Luvo served as the chief infrastructure consultant for the establishment of midstream oil and gas assets.
Luvo has graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Politics and International Relations with Honours. He also carries a postgraduate diploma in International Trade and Security from the University of Amsterdam (VU).
LUVO GILAMANAGING DIRECTOR
Zwelakhe has 10 years of experience in the energy and financial sector. He is formerly the Head of Commodities for Centurion Group, the leading pan-African legal and advisory firm in the continent, and held position of Ener-gy Originator at DMWA Resources, an energy investment and trading company. Zwelakhe is also the Head of Trade for the African Energy Chamber, and a Board Member at the German African Business Forum.
During his career in the energy sector, he has occupied numerous financial analytics roles in various energy firms in South Africa, including the largest private LPG facility in South Africa.
Zwelakhe graduated form the University of Dundee with an MSc in Energy Finance and a BSc in Economics from the University of Illinois-Urbana Champaign.
