Mr. Mehta had grade 7 Androgentic alopecia. One of his friends got
operated at our clinic and had an excellent hair growth. Mr. Mehta was
60 years of age at the time of surgery. Because of his age he was a
little apprehensive about the surgery.

After a detailed discussion about the available treatment options and
with the comforting words of Dr. Shaiil, he was convinced and decided
to go for a transplantation procedure. He wanted to correct the frontal
baldness with minimum number of grafts. He had opted for 1700 grafts
only.
It was a challenge to cover Grade 7 case with such a small number of
grafts. At Satya we love challenges. We did 1700 grafts by Follicular Unit
Transplant Method . We kept a high hairline considering his age and
number of grafts. The surgery was very comfortable and post op
recovery was pretty fast. With every passing month the coverage
improved. Within 6 months Mr. Mehta had an excellent coverage in the
frontal area and is very happy with the results.
Even at this age and with a very small number of grafts, he had a very
natural looking hairline. Now Mr. Mehta feels much younger and more
confident. He wished he could have got the surgery done earlier.
