Pres. A. C. Fay Confers with Secretary

During this past summer, President and Mrs. A. C. FaY were residing in Tilton, N. H., while your Secretary and his wife were living during August at Boar's Head Inn, Hampton Beach, N. H., where they have spent vacations for over 20 years. This afforded an opportunity for the A.D.S.A. officers to have a conference on a number of future activities of the Association including the formation of new committees.

1960 Membership Campaign

Last year space was provided on the dues notices for members to suggest names and addresses of prospective new members. About 50 new names were suggested and a veD, good percentage of these became members. With 1960 dues notices now being nmiled to nearly 2,600 members, we should get more than 50 prospective members nominated.

H. r . Judkins and A. C. Fay

I hope that all members will give this serious thought and try to think of someone who would b~ interested in beconfing a member of" our Association. I f in doubt as to whether a can- didate is already a melnber, nominate him anyway. Names will be checked in r, ur files before contact is made.

A.D.S.A. Awards Program

The Awards Program of our Association is one of its most important activities. We are fortunate in having a number of organizations so keenly interested in our Association that they will donate these awards year after year. Obviously we owe it to them to make these awards as competitive as possible. It is also important from the standpoint of donors and the winners that the awards go to the very best minds in their particular fields.

Award nomination forms will be mailed to members with 1960 dues notices and it is hoped that more members will make nominati,ms than bus been the case in recent years.
