“Smart” is the new “green” As industries have adopted the concept of smart mobiles, smart materials, smart energy, smart technology,

smart factory, smart mobility, smart grids and smart meters, smart building and smart clouds so participants will work in 3-4 groups on

different components needed to create a smart city in Russia: location, infrastructure, technology requirements, business models, life

style and culture.

The workshop will commence with a 15 minutes Frost & Sullivan presentation on a Smart City case study to provide the concept and

general ideas. This will be followed by a brainstorming session of 25 minutes and finish with a 30 minute dedicated presentation by

each group.
