March 16, 2018

From the Principal’s Desk,

I think mother nature is certainly reminding us that winter is not over yet! I

know the snow has made for fun skiing and other winter activities so I know

many who are enjoying it! I do look forward to the first day of spring next

Tuesday and of course warmer weather!

I had the privilege of going to the District III Band and Chorus Concert last

Friday to watch Alisa Roberts, Mackenzie Smith, and Lillian Wellman who

were all in the chorus. They did a wonderful job and it is always amazing to

hear such a wonderful performance with students from around the state.

Thank you to Mrs. Rogers for supporting our students and preparing them

for this wonderful opportunity.

Thank you to the Friendship Community Club for bringing the FrogTown

Mountain Puppeteers to our school to present “Everybody Loves Pirates”. It

was a wonderful program and the students really enjoyed it!

Students in grades 3-6 will begin taking the state assessments next week.

It seems like we just began our week and I am already here wishing

you a wonderful weekend! Here is to hoping we have a full week of

school next week.
