1) Start the day with a short Meditation. Listen to the song ‘‘Disney Ballet Class Music” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPRBiecgmuQ Close your eyes, lay down or sit in a chair and trace around the fingers on your hand while you take nice slow breaths.

2) Look outside and check the weather. What will today’s weather

be like? Use your weather pictures from last week and tell someone today’s weather forecast.

3) What day of the week is it today? If yesterday was Thursday, then today must be…….. Use your ‘days of the week’ words you made last week and find the day for today.

This week's focus letter is ‘Z’. Our word of the week is ‘it’. Draw some Zig Zags on a piece of paper and practise cutting them out with some scissors. Remember to hold the paper with your other hand and use it to move the paper to where you need to cut.

3) Letter Hunt: choose a book from home, use your finger to track the words on each page from left to right. As you move your finger, see if you can find the letter z in any of the words. I wonder if you can count how many z’s are in your book!
