Writing - Pencil Control Workbook

Please complete the following activities from your take home kit: Pattern Worksheet 1 & Pattern Worksheet 2

This week's focus letter is ‘Z’. Our word of the week is ‘it’. Draw some Zig Zags on a piece of paper and practise cutting them out with some scissors. Remember to hold the paper with your other hand and use it to move the paper to where you need to cut.

3) Letter Hunt: choose a book from home, use your finger to track the words on each page from left to right. As you move your finger, see if you can find the letter z in any of the words. I wonder if you can count how many z’s are in your book!
