As a co-owner and managing member of Monkee’s Franchising, LLC, Dee Dee places her focus on the expansion and the development of new retail locations. After her time as a sales rep for Armani, Dee Dee realized her passion for the retail business and turned her focus to starting her own women’s shoe and clothing boutique in Wilmington, NC. Her knowledge of the industry, as well as her dedication to making Monkee’s stores thrive makes her a valuable resource for advice and guidance to Monkee’s owners and employees.

Brenda is a co-owner and managing member for Monkee’s Franchising, LLC. She focuses on the development of organizational objectives and strategic plans for the company. Her long history in the retail industry allows her to provide a unique insight to store owners on growing and maintaining a successful retail store.

Dee Dee and Brenda met in a similar fashion to how many of our Monkee’s owners meet – through their love of shopping and the latest in ladies’ fashions. Through the years they have developed a unique business partnership, combining their expertise in all aspects of the ladies‘ retail fashion

business. Using their skills to develop a fun and rewarding business opportunity, they have created a highly recognizable and respected brand image. Dee Dee and Brenda have the drive and vision to continue growing the Monkee’s organization and helping new business owners navigate in the

exciting industry of ladies’ retail fashion!

My name is Suzanne Ketchings and I am the owner of Monkee’s of Ridgeland! I am a native Mississippian who grew up in North Carolina, where I first began shopping at Monkee’s stores many years ago. Always my go to for every occasion, I love the comfortable, stylish and fun atmosphere Monkee’s stores offer.

After moving back to Mississippi and attending college and law school at Ole Miss, I decided to fulfill my dream of owning my own business. Coupled with my love of everything fashion, Monkee’s was a natural fit. I am thrilled to bring the Monkee’s shopping experience to Mississippi and to offer their personalized service to our customers in the Jackson area and beyond!
