2013 Application for Founders' Days ParadeTheme - Journey Through Paradise

Thank you for your interest in the 2013 Founders' Days Parade on Saturday, February 16th. Founders' Days is an exciting 4 day event from February 14th - 17th and will include a carnival, live music, food booths, arts and crafts with many other surprises including fireworks on Saturday night and the parade on Saturday morning. This year the parade will line up at Pioneer Park; we ask that you check in at 8:30 AM. The parade will begin at 10:00 AM and will go East on Hillsboro Blvd, North on AIA, past the pier then South along the beach. Following the parade there will be an awards ceremony at the beach. Trophies will be give to the winner in each of the below listed categories. Be sure when filling out the application you list the category for which you wish to be considered. Judges will be located on the stage at the Main Beach Parking Lot. Please note, it is important for you to provide the names of those that you would like acknowledged by the emcee together with any other information about your entry should you be chosen as a winner.

In consideration of the permission granted by the FOUNDERS' DAYS FESTIVAL and the CITY of DEERFIELD BEACH, to participate in the 2013 FOUNDERS' DAYS PARADE, I (participant) hereby agree to sign this Release and Waiver. Accordingly, I agree to unconditionally release, waive and discharge THE CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH, its commission members, its employees, agents and servants, all hereafter to be referred to as “RELEASES”, from all claims and courses of action, that I, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin may have for any loss, damage, or injury to person or property, weather caused by the negligence or otherwise of the releases. In addition, I agree to indemnify completely, the releases against all claims, demands and actions arising out of my actions or involvement with THE CITY OF DEERFIELD BEACH. I certify and warrant that I am in good physical condition and able to participate in the above activity or event.
