FOUAD ATTAR

Fouad Attar is Managing Director for Airbus Middle East. Attar joined Airbus Middle East in 2006 as Deputy President - head of commercial. Airbus Middle East is a subsidiary that became fully operational on September 1, 2006. Attar graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de L’Aeronautique et de l’Espace (Sup’Aero) as an aeronautical engineer and holds a business and management degree from IAE Toulouse. He is married with two children and is fluent in five languages. Attar started his career at Airbus in 1984 as a flight simulator engineer at the Airbus Training Centre in Toulouse. Following this he spent 13 years in various management positions at Royal Air Maroc before joining Air France Industries as their Vice President marketing and sales. After Air France Industries and prior to joining Airbus Middle East, Attar was Senior Vice President marketing, sales and business development at EADS Sogerma Services. With over 25 years of aviation experience, Attar has considerable aviation industry experience and has contributed to the growth of the sector in the region. January 2015
