FORMULA 161 CARPET SHAMPOO A “Woolsafe” Soil Retardant Carpet Shampoo with Biosolv. The best quality shampoo designed for rotary extraction (Chemstractor SC) or foam carpet cleaning equipment. Hints and Tips • Special soil retardants added to help keep dirt from sticking to fibres The special formulation helps keep dry soil from attaching to fibres and thus allowing easy removal during normal vacuuming. The result is a cleaner looking carpet for longer periods of time. • Any shampoo residue dries crisp and completely crystallises. Unlike “normal” carpet shampoos. Chemspec’s Formula 161 Soil Retardant Shampoo is formulated so that any residue will dry crisp completely – not remain sticky of tacky – for easy removal during the first vacuuming. Residues no longer linger and cause build up or leave harmful residues. Carpet appearance remains cleaner for much longer. Carpets Wear longer Due to the soil retarding capabilities found by using Chemspec Formula 161 there is less carpet fibre abrasion and wear giving extra life to the carpet. Buffered pH for optimum cleaning efficiency. Formula 161 retains maximum cleaning efficiency at use dilutions through the addition of formulated buffers. The optimum efficient pH of 9.0 to 9.5 is retained for safe dependable deep cleaning. Mix 250ml to each 4 litres of warm water (16 to 1 dilution) • If a high quality carpet shampoo with reduced dry soil retardants is desired, mix 200ml to each 4 litres of warm water ( 22 to 1) • For foam generating carpet cleaning machines, mix 300mls of Formula 161 with each 4L of warm water. Additional Chemspec Helpful Hints 1. Thoroughly vacuum entire carpet before cleaning. 2. Place waterproof cover under machine when filling tank over carpeted areas. 3. Use a hand brush to clean corners or areas where the machine cannot reach. 4. Clean carpet in metre passes when using a rotary machine/ foam generators use a straight line and overlap each pass. 5. Use a pile brush to reset pile in one direction after cleaning before the pile dries. 6. Use foil or plastic protectors under all furniture that will touch wet carpet.
