10.10 Student Feedback mechanisms on Institutional Governance / faculty performance.

College will maintain a system of feedback from student on the institutional governance/ faculty performance. The Secretary and the Principal make direct interaction with the students on this issue and after patience hearing necessary corrective actions will be taken in order to improve the institutional governance.

Students are asked to fill up staff appraisal form to know about the faculty performance. Student’s assembly is conducted at least once in the year.

10.11 Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students.

The college has formed students grievances redressal committee to reduce various problems of the students related with day to day functioning of the college. The teaching faculties were given the responsibilities. The students has also given the responsibilities. The students should report to their representive about their problem who further carries that problem to committee. If needed the matter will be discussed in the college governing council. Periodical meetings are conducted for the students and the faculty by the principal and the academic council.

DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE

I HALL COUNCIL – Looks after regular matters relating to hostel discipline, food, amenities, maintenance etc. II FOOD COMMITTEE – To ensure satisfactory quality & quantity of food cooked & served in the mess, quality of raw materials used, hygiene & cleanliness of the kitchen & dining hall, adherence to menu chart made by the hall council and report to the principal & the superintendent on a periodic basis III ANTI - RAGGING COMMITTEE – It takes pro-active measures to prevent ragging of fresher in the hostel, college building, within the campus or outside. Counseling of senior students to resist from any act of ragging. On identification of the offenders, should submit a written report to the disciplinary committee for necessary actions. In case of crisis situations it directly reports to the principal. IV HOSTEL MANAGER & CARETAKERS:

It is the duty of the hostel manager to visit the hostels occasionally & oversee the activities of the hostel wardens & caretakers and assist them whenever necessary. He calls the meeting of the hall council, prepare proceedings & take actions in consultation with the higher authorities. He grants leave of temporary absence or weekend leaves

of inmates of the girls’ hostel (abiding by college rules). The hostel warden too grants leave of temporary absence or weekend leaves of inmates of the boy’s hostel (abiding by college rules). He maintains the hostel discipline &take appropriate, prompt &corrective actions to prevent any act of indiscipline (including ragging) as & when arises. The hostel manager and caretakers inspect & supervise the maintenance of hostel cleanliness, hygiene, the supply of meals (breakfast, lunch, evening tea & dinner) at the specified quantity, quality at the appropriate time. He has to attend to the immediate complaints of the students and arrange for redressal and repair with the higher authorities. He also attends to the medical needs of the students and maintains overall discipline of the hostel.

The Academic head determines the class load and frames the timetable of the current academic year, also monitors day-to-day attendance and discipline of students, faculties and staff. Reports periodically to the management regarding student’s progress, evaluates faculty development needs and initiates research and development proposals, conducts Sessional examination with the assistance of the examination committee and assists the Training & Placement Cell to arrange the students’ summer training and placement.
