Your opening MUST contain one paragraph stating:
1. The reason why you are writing
2. Where you saw the advertisement for the job (if possible)
Your body MUST contain at least two paragraphs stating:
1. A relevant introduction of yourself
2. Why you could be an appropriate candidate for the job offered
Your conclusion MUST indicate:
1. That you enclose your CV
2. That they can contact you if they need to
3. That you will wait for a response

You have to use language that is formal and appropriate to the situation.
- Contractions and abbreviations are NOT appropriate in formal writing.E.g. aren’t; don’t; I’d like- Words from Latin origins look more formal than typical anglo-saxon words.
E.g. I want to take the job of… I want to apply for the position of…
- Conditional tenses are formal.E.g. I would like to apply for…
E.g. I like to look into matters carefully I like to researchE.g. I get on well with everybody I am a sociable person
