I DO (10 min): • Explain how Mingles

works (if it is Ss’ first time

with us).• Introduce the topic of

the week by sharing a

personal experience. • Talk about the

vocabulary on the handout (Ts and Ss should

read the topic before hand and

bring it to class).

WE DO (45 min): This

is the most important part of

Mingles.• Ss and Ts discuss about the topic, Ss share their experiences, give their

opinions and Ts moderate, motivate and correct them.

• Make sure everyone

is talking!!

YOU DO (5 min):

Recap & Review.• Ss will share sth they

have learn during the

session. E.g. A sentence, a

feeling…• Ts will help Ss to do it

by asking questions like “What was the word for

describing..?”
