Trustworthiness

Critics of open-source wiki systems argue that these systems could be easily tampered with; while proponents argue that the community of users can catch malicious content and correct it.

Instead of solely using word processing and presentations, email and Instant Messaging, students are creating an evolving web site, working together to ensure the accuracy and validity of their work under the scrutiny of peer review.

The information is out there already - we just have to show them where to go, how to evaluate it, and bring it all together.
