Environmental Defence has an operation budget of over THREE MILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR, and employs ALMOST TWENTY-FIVE staff members.

Coincidentally, Environmental Defence was PROVIDED WITH VAST SUMS OF MONEY dur-

ing the period of time covering the public debates on the Toronto prohibition and the

Ontario prohibition ( 2001-2008 ).

It would not be unexpected that a portion of this massive amount of funding would have

helped build infra-structures that were used to change public policy and to impose life-style changes on society, such as the Ontario Cosmetic Pesticides Ban Act.

This was clearly not part of the mandate of Environmental Defence in obtaining funding.

Public tax dollars, through Environmental Defence, may have been working for the det-riment of the Professional Lawn Care Industry.


ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENCE IS MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE

THAN HEALTH CANADA ?!?!?

NO !

Environmental Defence’s Mad-Hatter-Lunatics have conveniently considered the hun-

dreds of qualified scientists of Health Canada’s respected Pest Management Regulatory Agency to be incompetent and/or incapable of arriving at correct scientific findings con-

cerning conventional pest control products.

In order to allow SOUND SCIENCE to be effectively practiced, it would be preferable

leave the interpretation of scientific research about pest control products to those people

who ARE competent to do it ― Health Canada, and NOT ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENCE.

NO pest control product can be sold or used until Health Canada’s scientists have evalu-ated ALL the existing evidence to determine whether the product meets stringent health

and safety requirements.

Conventional pest control products are SCIENTIFICALLY SAFE since they have been scru-

Overall, when they are used properly, there are NO harmful irreversible effects to health

and the environment !
