This is for all parents and carers of children starting Kindergarten in 2018.
It has been fantastic to see the joy students have had, in and out of the classrooms, over the last few weeks with their learning. It is inspiring to see the enthusiasm while visiting the classes and speaking with students about the dynamic
learning opportunities occurring in our school.
On Monday, 15 September we were able to host a special Regional Mitchell Conservatorium Orchestra performance for free last week. This was possible with the support of the
local Forbes Council and the event gave students an engaging insight to music with twenty intriguing instruments playing in the afternoon session while the
whole school watched on.
Just as a reminder, it is important to note that bus zones are crucial areas for the safe arrival and collection of students by the transport companies across our town. Please keep the bus zone area on Browne Street clear and utilise the “The Kiss and Drop Off” zone which is the designated area on Lachlan
Street in the mornings when dropping off children at school with a vehicle.
Our Movie night on the school oval was a great success! Thank you to all those community members who assisted and we are very grateful to the
support for the event of Catholic Care and the Forbes Services Memorial Club.
Our students have made many safe, respectful and responsible choices across our school over the term. They have strived to solve problems and make choices to strengthen our school culture that reflect our high expectations. It is wonderful to see students working together to become
robust and resilient citizens.
It has been another wonderful term at Forbes Public School and students return on Monday, 15 October. Have a safe and refreshing time over the
break.

PBL Reward Day
Wow! What a successful term. To celebrate all our positive choices, our PBL acknowledgement day is on tomorrow
Friday, 28 September.
Students are participating in a Ninja Warrior Course run by Gecko Sports from Young. They may come dressed in their
best 80's outfits for the day (including joggers).
We can't wait to celebrate our exceptional behaviour!
