During September, heavy rains have hit South Eastern Australia causing flooding around theLachlan River. Approximately 34,000 square kilometers are affected with several townsevacuated, over 100 buildings inundated and potential for significant damage to cropsThe present map shows the flood delineation in the area of Forbes (AUSTRALIA). Thethematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image using a semi-automaticapproach. The estimated geometric accuracy is 5 m CE90 or better, from native positionalaccuracy of the background satellite image.
