Hope looked down and saw hopelessness.

“I will go there,” said Hope.

Peace looked down and saw war.

“I will go there,” said Peace.

Joy looked down and saw sadness.

“I will go there,” said Joy.

Love looked down and saw hatred.

“I will go there.” said Love.

Light looked down and saw darkness.

“I will go there,” said Light.

And so, the messenger of Hope, the Prince of Peace, the harbinger of Joy, the God of Love and the agent of light came down and crept in beside us.
