Now in its third year, ‘Armagh Craft Fair’ is getting bigger and better. Located in the wonderful surroundings of The Market Place Theatre in Armagh, this two-day event offers something for everyone - beautiful and affordable craft, craft workshops , free craft demonstrations, craft exhibitions, music, great food and much more...

This exhibition, showing in the Market Place Theatre Gallery, features the work of 16 artists from Ireland and England.

Basketry, ceramics, jewellery, mixed media, textiles and printing will feature in the exhibition, which runs from 20 April, throughout the Fair and continues until 6 July. Visitors to the exhibition will be asked to vote for their favourite piece and a cash prize of £300. ‘The People’s Prize’ will be awarded to the winning Artist | Designer | Maker.

Join tutor Andrea Hayes and let your children’s imaginations run wild as they decorate wire sculptures with everything from tinfoil and bottletops to netting and fabrics. You could make an imaginary creature, a funky flower or even a rocket in this fun and interactive workshop.

Learn how to make a flower pocket using stoneware clay with tutor Sara Roberts who will teach participants techniques in hand-built slab work and surface decoration. Wow all the family with your finished piece!

Tutor Elena Brennan leads this very hands-on and fun wire jewellery workshop. Simple spirals and geometric shapes will form the basis of rings and bangles to create that something a little bit different. Prepare to have serious fun!
