An anthem is s song that represents the club.Fans often sing their club anthem at matches
to encourage their team.

Example:
booing
Booing is when fans shout the word boo. Thisword doesn’t really mean anything, but is usedto express unhappiness. The players don’t likeit when their fans boo them.

chanting
When the fans all say the same words or phrases over and over again, this is calledchanting. Fans often chant their club name orthe name of a player.

When fans are happy and they shout, this ischeering. Fans usually don’t cheer real words.
They cheer by shouting “yay” or “woo” or even“woohoo”.
