We invite you to participate in a fabulous community event. What a great opportunity for your organization to raise money for your many projects. The food booths are a VERY popular attraction to the thousands of people who participate in this spectacular Iowa event.

• Event takes place on Sunday, July 20, 2014 • Food booths will be located in Sheldon City Park • Booth space is 20 x 10 • Food vendor fee:

o LOCAL vendors- $300 (Registration fee non-refundable) o Non local vendors- $500 total ($300 registration fee + $200 donation to the

local non-profit organization through whom they are partnering = $500) ! Registration and donation non-refundable ! You will be provided with signage from the Sheldon Food Service

Committee, recognizing that you have donated to local organizations.

• Proof of insurance is required • Complete Food Vendor application is required • Food safety training is mandatory

o Training meeting will be held, date to be announced. o Permit must be obtained by the Iowa Department of Health

! All food booth operators MUST follow state guidelines. All food booths will be required to obtain an additional license for the price of $33.50. The inspector will be on hand Sunday, July 20 to fill out license and collect fee.

• Local Food booth participants will receive first choice for the food/drink; other requests will be received on a first-come, first-serve basis to help eliminate duplication of booths

• Signed notification that you have read, understand, and abide the vendor ordinance- city ordinance (Sheldon)
