FIRST STEP

Recycle some small boxes not too big from your house…for example I’ve chose one of body cream and another of tissues.

I’ve chose them because they’ve spaces covered by transparent paper.

Page 4: Food game 3 d

SECOND STEP

Start painting with the permanent pen the space around the transparent paper.

Page 5: Food game 3 d

THIRD STEP

Finish the rest of the box with some black paint and the paintbrush.

I’ve chose gouache because it cover the colours easier than other water paints, but it’s expensive. Whatever you use can be ok!

Let them dry 2 or 3 hours.

FOUR STEP

Once they are painted and dried you can prepare the game!

GAME 3D: TOUCH AND GUESS

Just introduce one of these fruits inside the box of tissues, then you cover it with the plastic/fabric.

Remember that they can only touch! Not see!

Then the students have to guess in English the name of food.

WHEN TO USE IT?

Well, you can use it in many ways and at different moments during your lesson plan: GROUPS: 5 children. Four of them choose a piece of

food and the fifth has to guess. Remember to prepare boxes enough.

INDIVIDUAL: Each lesson you can choose one student at random, at the end of the lesson he or she can play. In order to be motivated you can show the box at the beginning of the lesson , in this way they know they are going to play it. When its time to play ask the rest of your students to choose the piece of food! Only one of their classmates will be the guesser.
