Ballina Beverages

Ballina Beverages is a state-of-the-art facility in County Mayo. This facility develops the concentrates, beverage bases and syrups for producing the Coca-Cola range of drinks, which are exported throughout Europe and the rest of the world. Jones Engineering Group completed the mechanical and high-purity piping installation at this production plant. The scope of work included over 50,000 metres of pipe work installation, of which 90% was orbitally welded.

Diageo / Guinness, St. James’s Gate Brewery

Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks producer. The St. James’s Gate Brewery, originally founded in 1759, is the largest brewer of stout in the world and is one of the oldest licensed distilleries. We have been working in the Brewery for almost half a century and play an integral role in the expansion and development of the plant. Jones Engineering carry out various mechanical, electrical and sprinkler works; we also provide reliability-centred maintenance studies, preventative maintenance schedules, condition monitoring and plant overhauls, and are currently working on the new state-of-the-art brewery.

Almarai, Project Cradle, KSA

Almarai is the largest integrated food supplier in the world. Jones Engineering has completed the design, supply and installation of the HVAC Power and Control Installation, Fire Detection / Alarm systems and the electrical elements associated with the refrigeration plant, for this new state-of-the-art nutritional facility in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia. The facility will produce infant formula for the Gulf Cooperation Countries. This world-class facility is being built to the highest standards, incorporating the latest in process technology. It features a dedicated visitor auditorium and visitor viewing lobbies as well as full administration, warehousing, laboratories and utilities to support the process.

Atlantic Industries, Wexford

Jones Engineering were recently responsible for the installation of the process and mechanical HVAC services to this new state-of-the-art flavour manufacturing and innovation facility. The facility includes manufacturing, laboratory and pilot plant facilities to develop new and exciting flavours of drinks. Our scope of work included the installation of 38,000 metres of pipe, which is a combination of hygienic, carbon, stainless steel, copper, PVC and galvanised piping materials. The main building consists of three interconnecting blocks, made up of functional zones: administration, production (including warehousing) and utilities. We continue to carry out upgrade works for this client.

PepsiCo, Cork

PepsiCo is the world’s second largest food and beverage company. Jones Engineering Group installed the electrical and mechanical plant and HVAC systems in PepsiCo’s manufacturing and services facility in Carrigaline. This included the process utility services running on modular pipe racks, which were fabricated off-site at our workshop in Little Island. This facility manufactures concentrate for the Europe/Asia operations.

Almarai, Poultry Processing Plant, Ha’il, KSA

Almarai is the largest integrated food supplier in the world. They recently opened a new state-of-the-art poultry processing facility located in Ha’il. Jones Engineering Group carried out the mechanical piping, fire alarm and Vesda fire detection packages to this new facility, and continue to work with this valued client.

Stateside Foods, Manchester

Stateside Foods is one of the UK’s top chilled pizza manufacturing companies, established over 20 years, and one of the largest providers of own label produce. Stateside is a member of the Freiburger Group of companies. Jones Engineering Group completed the sprinkler installation for Stateside Foods at their Bolton food production facility.

Kraft Foods, Dublin

Jones Engineering Group was involved in the new Gum base plant in Tallaght for Kraft Foods where we installed the mechanical, electrical and sprinkler services. Jones Engineering were responsible for the process pipe work installation and equipment move for this new facility. Over 8,000metres of process pipe were installed on this project.

Heinz, Dundalk

Jones Engineering completed a plant extension for Heinz in their Dundalk facilit. Heinz is one of the leading food brands in the world. The extension included process piping, HVAC services and equipment installation packages to their frozen ready meal manufacturing facility. The project project was carried out within a very tight timeframe and within an existing live facility.

Cuisine de France, Dublin

Cuisine de France recently developed a new multi-purpose facility on a greenfield site in Grangecastle Business Park. The facility incorporates a state-of-the-art food manufacturing facility and distribution centre, corporate headquarters and offices, visitor centre, R&D centre, and a training centre. Jones Engineering Group completed the installation of the mechanical and process services to this facility. We also continue to maintain the mechanical services throughout this facility.

Cadbury

Cadbury is a leading confectionary brand throughout the world and has chocolate manufacturing facilities in Dublin and Kerry. Jones Engineering Group has been working with Cadburys for more than 40 years providing mechanical and sprinkler services in both their chocolate crumb factory in Rathmore, Co. Kerry, and in their manufacturing facility in Coolock, Dublin.

Irish Bonding, Belfast

Irish Bonding is a subsidiary of Diageo and a world-class packaging centre of excellence for Guinness and other ready-to-drink products in Belfast. We carried out the design, supply, installation and commissioning of a dual-fuel boiler located beside the existing boiler house, and a new 75,000 litre oil tank to supply both existing boilers and the new boiler.

Abbott Nutrition

Abbott Nutrition develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of science-based nutritional products to support the growth, health and Well-being for people of all ages. These include infant, follow-on, growing up, performance and medical nutrition formulas, feeding sets and pumps. Jones Engineering Group supplied and installed the mechanical services for Abbott Nutrition Ireland at their facilities in both Cavan and Sligo. The mechanical services included: process pipe rack between various buildings, lab gases, pipe work in clean areas and rainwater and drainage installation.

IAWS

Jones Engineering provided mechanical and electrical services to works at the IAWS group fish processing facility in Killybegs. IAWS (Irish Agricultural Wholesale Society Limited) was an international food and agri-business and parent company to such well-known brands as Cuisine de France and Otis Spunkmeyer.
