Built in 2010, the Winner Premier Grandstand offers a modern venue for conferences, exhibitions and weddings, offering over 1000 square metres of space over two of its floors.

Facilities:

Ground Floor

Perfect for any private function, the concourse measures over 600 square metres and includes a bar and café, toilet facilities and terrace overlooking Fontwell gardens. Events here include business exhibitions and blood donor sessions.

First Floor

One of the most impressive suites in the Winner Premier Grandstand, this is perfect for corporate or private functions including weddings.

This room can seat up to 500 delegates or 350 cabaret style, but can also be divided into three smaller rooms with separate entrances and soundproofed partitions. There is also a balcony overlooking the racecourse allowing plenty of natural light which can be minimised by black-out blinds if required.

Second Floor

The second floor of the Winner Premier Grandstand is home to 12 breakout rooms, suitable for boardroom meeting space for up to 20 people.

There is also one ‘Double Box’ with a capacity of up to 40 delegates. Each suite has a balcony overlooking the racecourse.

PADDOCK MARQUEEThe award winning audio specialists, Bowers & Wilkins celebrated their 50th anniversary in the Paddock Marquee with 350 attendees enjoying a bespoke BBQ and private bar on the decking, perfect for summer events. The venue holds a large number of guests which was ideal for B&W’s families, friends and employees.

FONTWELL HOUSEFontwell House provides the traditional setting, perfect for any wedding.

“We chose Fontwell House for our Wedding Ceremony and Reception as my dad was a keen horse racing fan and took my brothers and I as children to racing events here, thus creating fond memories of the past.

We knew as soon as we entered the house, which is steeped in character and ambience, that this is where we wanted to hold our wedding. The house and grounds are beautiful and create a lovely backdrop for photographs.”

Specialists in fine historic automobiles, Coys of Kensington, the prestigious car auctioneers site hired our large ground at the entrance to Fontwell Park to erect a large marquee to host one of their high end auctions. With easy access from the A27 and a huge plot of land, this was the perfect option to host their esteemed event.

GNB Fairs specialise in antique collections and are fond of racecourses for site hire due to the large and flexible spaces required. With 3 floors of the Premier Grandstand, the ground floor is adapted to host many stalls as with the entrance and outdoor spaces in the build up to the Premier Grandstand.

HOW TO FIND USBy road: SAT NAV: BN18 0SY (Main Car Park), BN18 0SX (Centre Course) Fontwell Park is situated on the A27/A29 roundabout between Chichester and Arundel. Access to our main car park on racedays is from Fontwell Avenue (A29 towards Bognor Regis), the entrance is 300 yards from the roundabout on the right-hand side.

By rail: The nearest station is Barnham, trains run regularly from London Victoria, Portsmouth and Brighton. Trains also run direct to Barnham from Southampton.

By bus: A shuttle bus runs from Barnham Station to Fontwell Park on racedays from two hours prior to the first race and immediately after the last.

By air: With prior permission, helicopters can land on the course on racedays. Light aircraft can land at nearby Goodwood (by prior arrangement). Fontwell Park recommends Elite Helicopters 0800 804 8812.
