Pictorial Directory Proof We have received a proof copy of the photos Re:Member took for our directory. (We are close to having our directory completed--hooray!) We have noticed a few corrections that are needed, and ask that you please take a moment to stop either in the church office during the week or at the Information Desk on Sunday morn-ing to approve your information. If you received an email from Re:Member and your information was correct, there is no need to check again. Thank you!

Ashland Bookcase Project 2015 It's time for Ashland's annual Ashland Bookcase Project! The Ashland Rotary Club is partnering with the community to help fight illiteracy. Master carpenters at Trinity Lutheran Church and stu-dents at the Career Center will donate their time and talent to build 55 bookcases for "at risk" chil-dren in the Head Start program in Ashland and Sullivan. Our goal is to fill those bookcases with gently used books or new books that you might donate, geared to ages 2-6. The children who are identified by the Head Start teachers receive a personalized oak bookcase and a nice starter set of books. The boxes will be in Jack’s Place hallway from approximately March 23 to April 20.

Trinity Travelers Trip Planned

On April 17, we are headed for Hartville for dinner and to see The Hoppers gospel group perform. They are known as America’s favorite family of gospel music and have performed with the Gaithers for many years and continue to perform with them. The bus will depart Trinity parking lot at 11:00 a.m. and arrive at Hartville around noon or shortly thereafter. The dinner theatre opens at 5:30 p.m., dinner to be served at 6:00, performance at 7:00 and will last between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We will then head back to Ashland. The cost of the tickets is $65, all inclusive. We were only able to get 35 tickets so it is first come, first served. The sign-up sheet is

posted on the Trinity Traveler bulletin board, by the library. The deadline is March 17.

Think Piece

Let’s think for a few minutes about ministry to children. Are you aware that we have four distinct programs for little children? Our Child Care, the Beacon After School Program, the Christian Preschool, and our Montes-sori children’s program on the second floor of the Church Home. In addition, of course, we have Creative Movement, Sunday School for each grade and age group, an extensive Nursery program for all worship ser-vices and our Wednesday evening activity time and our children’s choirs. What an investment in Trinity’s fu-ture!

So the next time you come to our building and notice all kinds of little children around the building….there’s a reason for that. We have staff members and volunteers galore, who make it their ministry to start little chil-dren off on the right foot. We want all of our children, and children of the community, to know they are loved by the Lord.

In Christ,

Pastor Mitchell

The MnM widow’s social group will have our second-annual St. Patrick’s Day Lunch on March 17, at O’Bryan’s, 1065 Claremont Avenue. You must make your reservation by March 15, either in the church office or at the Information Desk on Sunday morning. When you make your reservation, please indicate if you will carpool from the church at 12:40 pm, or meet at O’Bryan’s at 1:00 p.m.

The Passion According to Luke Pastor Mitchell continues his Bible study on Wednesday nights at 6:15 in the Trinity Room, during Lent. All are invited to attend. The continued schedule is below:

March 18 Luke 23:1:25 At the Courthouse March 25 Luke 23:26-38 At the Cross April 1 Luke 23:39-56 At the End
