ApplicationsBellows are used to protect moving machine parts from dust, dirt and the like, thus minimising the risk of machine downtime and extending service life. Bel-lows also protect operators and others from injury through contact with moving machine parts, thus optimising safety.

In addition, bellows are increas-ingly used in machine design, where they not only protect moving machine parts but are also ideal for various cover-ing purposes. They provide an attractive finish and, thanks to the flexible folds, their size is easily adapted.

We also offer customised bellows to meet specific requirements on size, material, shape and colour. Delivery times are short and tool costs low.

Folding bellows of molerit®

molerit® is a unique thermoplastic material with properties similar to rubber and good chemical resist-ance. The material was developed by Möller Werke GmbH, a German company we have been working closely with for many years.

molerit® T59 is the quality of mol-erit we use for our bellows. The material has a hardness of 59.5 Shore A (DIN 53905), is black in colour and has an application temperature range of -32°C to +70°C (max. 85°C). molerit® T59 is extremely weather resistant, but has limited resist-ance to oils and grease.

Three types of folding bellows are available:

• Cylindricalbellows• Conicalbellows• Single-foldbellows

Other bellows typesBesides folding bellows, we also manufacture customised guide-way covers and box bellows to individual specifications.

Rubber disc bellows are made of rubber discs vulcanised together. In comparison with the length achieved when fully extended, the bellows are extremely compact when compressed, i.e. the differ-ence between maximum length (Lmax.) and minimum length (Lmin.) is large.

MaterialThe Chlorosulphonatedpolyethyl-ene (CSM) used for our bellows has a hardness of 65 Shore A, is black in colour and has an application temperature range of -20°C to +110°C. The material is reasonably resistant to oil and chemicals and has exceptional weather resistance.

TypesRubber disc bellows are custom made in size increments of 5 mm. Three attachment options are available:

a) Collar for clip attachment. Can also be used in combina-tion with flange.

c) Spacer flange. Attachment by means of lock washer and screws. Combination with collar also possible.

b) Flange formed by the final fold. Attachment by means of lock washer and countersunk screws. Combination with collar also possible.

Dimensionsand delivery timesAll standard range rubber disc bellows will be delivered within 14 days. Delivery times for large batches may, however, be slightly longer.

MaterialThe Chloroprene (CR) used for our bellows has a hardness of 60 Shore A (DIN 53505), is black in colour and has an application temperature range of -45°C to +95°C (max. 120°C). The material is weather resistant and has high acid and solvent resistance.

AttachmentThe bellows can be attached by clips or using a flange solution. If a flange solution is used, the collar should be cut off at the tip of a fold.

1 Cut bellows 1 and 2 at the bottom of a fold. Insert nylon ring in outermost fold of bel-lows 1.

2 Stretch bellows 2 onto bellows 1 ensuring that one fold overlaps all the way round.

3 The two bellows are now joined and form a single unit.

Foldebælge af Neoprene Neoprenebælge er vores tilbud til dem, der har brug for en billig her-og-nu-løsning til beskyttelse af aksler, spindler eller andre be-vægelige maskindele. Man kan sætte to eller flere bælge sammen ved hjælp af en nylonskive og derved opnå en lægere bælg.

Materiale Neoprene (CR) som anvendes til disse bælge har en hårdhed på 60 Shore A (DIN 53505), farven er sort og anvendelsestemperaturen ligger mellem -45°C og +95°C (maks. 120°C). Materialet er vejr-bestandigt og har god bestandig-hed over for syrer og opløsnings-midler.

Fastgørelse Bælgene kan fastgøres ved hjælp af spændebånd eller som flange-løsning. Flangeløsning opnås ved af afklippe manchetten i spidsen af en fold.
