FOCUS was conceived over three decades ago, making it the oldest publication within its sector.

It was launched and owned by South Africa’s National Road Freight Association (RFA). Initially, it was an extremely modest publication... A newsletter as opposed to a fully-fledged magazine. However, it evolved... From a newsletter to a largely black and white magazine and then to a full colour publication. In 2001, Charmont Media Global acquired the magazine, and this spelt a whole new era for the title. With its publishing expertise, Charmont Media Global set out to metamorphosise the magazine, transforming it into a world-class magazine, truly befitting its readers.

To further meet the needs of this bustling industry, Charmont Media Global opened a Cape Town office during 2013.
