No. F.19(183)/Tpt./Sectt./2017/70257.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 115 (read

with clause (41) of section 2) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (59 of 1988), the Lieutenant Governor of the

National Capital Territory of Delhi on being satisfied that it is necessary in the interest of public safety and

convenience of general public do hereby prohibits or restricts, the plying and idle parking of specified

categories of vehicles on specified roads and areas against each category of the vehicle during specified

timing as enlisted in the schedule annexed with the said notification in the following manner :

The existing prohibition as notified from time to time for different categories of vehicles shall also

prevail.

This shall also be indicated by appropriate traffic signs placed or erected under section 116 of the

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 at suitable places.

This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
