Centerpiece Designs

Purpose: Design a 3-dimensional centerpiece floral arrangement which properly implements the

principles and elements of design.

Instructions:

1. Create a 3-dimensional paper model of a floral centerpiece arrangement.

• Use a variety of types of papers including cardstock, scrapbook, paper, tissue

paper, metallic text-weight paper, and crepe paper.

• Be sure to build each flower to represent a specific type of flower such as a tulip,

rose, peonies, hydrangea, anemone, daisy, or other.

• The arrangement must also include foliage made of paper.

• Use wire and floral tape to hold the paper flowers together.

2. Submit a 5-7 written explanation describing how the principles and elements of design

were applied into the paper floral arrangement.

3. Complete the reflection questions.
