No. 14 Florida State travels to Gainesville, Fla., to take on No. 8/10/9-ranked Florida on Saturday lookingto win its third straight against the Gators. FSU is 4-1 against Florida under head coach Jimbo Fisher.

The Seminoles have won two straight at Florida and are looking to win three straight in Gainesville forthe first time ever. Florida State is 23-34-2 all-time against Florida and 10-20-1 in Gainesville.

FSU can capture the state championship by defeating Florida after downing Miami, 29-24, and USF,34-14, earlier this season. FSU is 13-1 against in-state opponents under Jimbo Fisher.

The Noles are seeking their fourth consecutive 10-win season and fifth in six years under Fisher.FSU has 23 10-win seasons all-time. Florida State can also reach 10 wins and defeat UF and Miami in

the same season for the 10th time in school history, joining the 1979, 1989, 1993, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2010, 2013 and 2014 teams. Overall, the Noles have defeated both the Hurricanes and Gators in the same year 12 times (in 1996 FSU def. UF in regular season, but lost bowl). Last Meeting:Trailing 9-0 in the first quarter, the Noles were sparked by a 94-yard pick-six by LB Terrance Smith en route to a 24-

19 winin Tallahassee on Nov. 29, 2014. RB Dalvin Cook had 144 rushing yards on 24 carries, while Reggie Northrup totaled 11 tackles. Last Time at Florida:The Seminoles cruised past the Gators, 37-7, in Gainesville on Nov. 30, 2013 behind a9-catch, 212-yard, 3-TD

performance from WR Kelvin Benjamin. Jameis Winston added 327 yards through the air. Last Game: Led by Cooks seventh 100-yard rushing game (15-106, 2 TDs) and two TD receptions from WR Kermit Whitfield, FSU

defeated FCS-power Chattanooga, 52-13,to extend the nations longest current home winning streak to 21 games and wrap upthe third straight undefeated home slate for the Seminoles. FSU honored 19 seniors, including 12 scholarship players.

The Seminoles are the only team in the country that has not allowed an opponent to score 25 points and ranks 11th in thenation in scoring defense (17.0).FSU ranks 20th in the nation in total defense (333.6).

Florida ranks sixth in the nation in total defense (281.7) and will be the fifth opponent FSU has faced that ranks in the nationstop 17 defenses: No. 1 Boston College, No. 5 Clemson, No. 13 NC State and No. 17 Louisville.

Cook is the only player in the nation to rank in the Top 10 in scoring (8th, 10.2 ppg), rushing TDs (7th, 16), rushing yards (6th,1,475), all-purpose yards (7th, 1,682), rush yards/game (3rd, 147.5) and rush yards/carry (2nd, 8.0) - despite missing one game andall but one quarter of another contest while battling through hamstring and ankle injuries. Cook leads all Power 5 running backswith 18 rushes of 20 yards of more and has 22 overall 20-yard plays. He is averaging 196.6 rush yards vs. FBS winning teams.

Cook leads all Power 5 running backs in yards per carry at 8.0. How impressive is that number? Not one running back who hasbeen a finalist for the Heisman Trophy since 1980 had a yards per carry averaged that high (excluding vacated Reggie Bush). Cook is a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award, Maxwell Award and Walter Camp Player of the Year Award. Jalen Ramsey is a

semifinalist for the Thorpe Award, Bednarik Award and Lott IMPACT Trophy. Roberto Aguayo is a semifinalist for the Groza Award.

SEMINOLES SEEK THIRD STRAIGHT SUNSHINE SHOWDOWN VICTORY

AN FSU WIN WOULD ... Give FSU an all-time record of 534-240-17 (.686)

Improve Jimbo Fishers record to 68-13 (.840)

Give FSU a 13-7 (.650) mark vs. Top 25 opponents under Fisher

Give FSU a 5-1 record over Florida under Fisher

Push the Noles record to 24-34-2 all-time against the Gators

48The Florida State senior class has

already won 48 games, tying the 2014

senior class for most wins over a four-year

period in FSU history. A win at UF can give

the class sole possession of the record.

222Dalvin Cook is averaging 222.2 rushing and

receiving yards against FBS teams with a

winning record - by far the best mark in the

nation- ahead of No. 2 Christian McCaffrey of

Stanford by 47 yards per game. Cook has threegames of 200 combined rushing and receiving

yards: 269 vs. Miami, 266 vs. USF and 223 vs.

Louisville and had 198 at Clemson.

188In two games at the Swamp under Jimbo

Fisher, the Noles have allowed the Gators

only 188.5 yards per game of total offense

and outscored UF 58-14. Florida has just 19total first downs in the last two meetings

as FSU won 21-7 in 2011 and 37-7 in 2013.

    39

FSU is in the midst of its 39th

    consecutive winning season - the

nations longest active streak. FSU is alsobowl eligible for the 34th straight season

    - the longest streak in the country.

23Saturdays game marks the 23rd time FSU

and UF have played when both teams

are ranked in the AP Top 25 . The Noles

2015 (636 vs Texas State; 539 vs Miami; 510 vs Louisville; 575vs Syracuse).

FSU OFFENSE VS. FLORIDA Since Jimbo Fisher became head coach in 2010, Florida State is

4-1 against Florida including 2-0 in Gainesville. The Noles haveoutscored the Gators 139-77 in those five games.

RED ZONE RENEGADES One of the biggest strengths of Florida States offense the last

two years has been its proficiency in the red zone. That trend has continued through 11 games of the 2015 season

as the Seminoles are 36-for-41 on the year with 22 touchdownsand 14 field goals. FSU was a perfect 7-for-7 against UTC.

At 87.8 percent, FSU ranks fourth in the ACC and 30th nationally. Last year, FSU ranked eighth in the nation in red zone conver-

sions at 91.5 percent, while leading the nation at 97.3 percentduring its national championship season in 2013.

Since 2013, the Seminoles are 161-of-173 (93.1 percent) in redzone trips posting 115 TDs and 46 FGs.

in 2015 committing just 10 turnovers through 11 games. The Seminoles are tied for first in the ACC and tied for 10th

nationally for the fewest turnovers lost (10). FSU is one of 10 schools that have lost fewer than one turnover

a game in 2015 and just one of two schools in the ACC (NC State). FSUs 10 turnovers through the first 11 games are the fewest

to ever start a season. This year is the only season in schoolhistory that Florida State has committed 10 turnovers throughthe first 11 games.

Florida States first turnover in 2015 came in the second quar-ter in the season opener against Texas State. FSU then went25 consecutive quarters without a turnover prior to a fourthquarter interception at Georgia Tech (10/24).

Maguire came off the bench and orchestrated a come-from-be-hind victory over NC State (11/14). He helped erase a 10-point firstquarter deficit leading FSU to 27 unanswered points en route toa 34-17 victory.

In his first start of the season against Syracuse (10/31), Magu-ire established career-highs in completions (23), yards (348)and touchdowns (3).
