laugh The nighT aWayEverybody’s favourite felt-faced raconteur
is coming to Floriade to cast his acerbic,
ping-pong ball gaze on Commonwealth
Park! Appearing at festivals all over the world
alongside his skinny compadre Sammy J,
Randy has been married, divorced, arrested,
kidnapped and thrown from a moving
hovercraft. After three and a half years as the
occasionally sober children’s entertainer, he
settled on a career in comedy. Also Featuring:
Benjamin and James Stevenson are identical
twin brothers who combined to form the high
energy, rapidly rising musical comedy duo The
Stevenson Experience. They are the hosts of this
year’s comedy line-up, which features Dayne
Rathbone, who exploded onto the Australian
and UK comedy scenes in 2011, winning the
Triple J National Raw Comedy competition.
Runner up in the UK’s biggest comedy
competition, So You Think You’re Funny; Ronny
will also take to the stage, debuting his debut
solo stand-up comedy show The Ron Way. And
after taking out the Sydney Fringe Award for
Excellence 2011, comedian Michael Workman
promises to answer the eternal question: ‘Can
Goths be funny?’
