There are over 100 churches in Manas-sas and many more restaurants. Every denomination and cuisine is represented at least once. However, the churches and restaurants have one common problem — how to keep their pews and seats full. Malones succeeds by offering food and drink diners worship.
Located in what was originally a Pres-byterian Church, Malones replaced many failed restaurants with one that appeals to all tastes, satisfies all thirsts, and offers a variety of music its congregation adores.
Proprietor Kevin Malone took over the location five years ago and has complete-ly remodeled the Old Town spot while keeping the characteristics that give the space its 19th century appeal. Malone has been in the restaurant business for more
than twenty years and he knows what works: quality food, freshly prepared with enough variety to satisfy all taste profiles, great drinks, friendly staff, and a sincere dedication to enhancing the customer’s dining experience.
Whether you are looking for white ta-blecloth fine dining, appetizers and drinks after a hard day at the office, or a night on the town to enjoy adult beverages while listening to some of the area’s best local music, Malone’s fits the bill.
Downstairs is open daily for fine dining and features a menu of choice meats, fish, and pasta. If you’re in doubt (or just really hungry), order the bone in ribeye or the Truffles Mac n’ Cheese. To complement your meal, choose from Malones exten-sive and continually evolving wine menu.
Upstairs is the tavern. Here the fare is more pub style, though you can get what-ever you want no matter where you sit.
Try the shrimp and grits or the smoked trout dip while enjoying the daily happy hour. Upstairs is also where many local rock, pop, and blues bands perform every weekend. On Thursdays pop in for open mic night and keep your ears open as there are plans to add a comedy night in the near future.
Having a wedding or corporate affair? The restaurant recently added a banquet room ideal for large events, plus there are three private dining rooms that seat from six to sixty guests. Malones is also flanked on both sides with outdoor seating perfect for a cocktail reception or casual family dining.
For food, drink, and fun of divine pro-portions, check out Malones. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Brunch served on Sundays. Malones, 9329 Main St, Manas-sas/malonesofmanassas.com/571-208-1246
Housed in a church, it's no surprise diners worship the food at Malone's
