As you can see my flat plan looks quite plain and simple. I have based my front cover on that of one of the NME special editions featuring Florence and the Machines. The cover photo of her is a close up of her face slightly titled and I have tried to recreate this in my images. Therefore because the image is of a close us I do not want much writing to cover up her face, and I plan to have a much more detailed contents page with more in it. However, I still plan to include things such as cover lines and kickers and a plug as well as the important things such as the masthead and the main cover line.

Also featuring in the magazine. (News, reviews, gigs, updates, features, new)

Once again I have based my contents page upon that of an NME magazine. Although I have changed it slightly by adding more images. I also plan to include a subscriptions section and an editorial, where I will say what I think of magazine. I’ll include a list on bands and which pages they can be found on. I will put ‘this week’ which would suggest that the magazine is issued weekly. Also, I will include what is featuring in the magazine and the page numbers to go with it.

My double page spread is going to be like this one featuring Lily Allen. It looks really simple and I think it is going to be important not to over crowd the double page spread. Therefore I am going to use one main image with the text and I will include pull quotes and the main headline. I may also use other images if they flow with the rest of the page.
