FLAT PLAN MY PLAN FOR MY DIGIPAK

HAN.AWHERE DID I GO?

I will be using either a mid-shot or a close up for my cd cover.

HAN.AWHERE DID I GO?

HAN.AWHERE

DID

I

GO?

I plan to use a pink overlay for the background to conform to my music genre.

To empthasize my journey theme I plan to put a map of London in the background.

I plan to enhance my shot of the model using a blue overlay as many album covers of my genre use contrasting colours to make the artist stand out.

HAN.A WHERE DID I GO?

My text will most likely be white or black to conform to my music genre.

I will be using capital letters for the artists name to really make it stand out and experiment with lower-case letters and capital letters for the album cover as my genre uses both.

I plan to use the same image as my cd cover with the same edit. As this is what is usually done with most cd covers particularly cd covers of my chosen music genre.

HAN.A I will have the same font as my cd cover to keep consistency.

My convergence will go here

I will have the name of the album with the rest of the text to conform to an advert.

Record labels

I plan to fade a dark colour like blue into my magazine advert using gradient, having a contrasting block colour will help the text stand out and the fade will give my advert a smooth and precise look where everything is blended well together.

For my digipak booklet I plan on basing my idea off Emeli Sandes digipak. In which she used a collage of photos of the process of creating the album.I will use photos that I took during creating the music video to add continuity.

I plan to use a map of London as the background and to print off photos and take polaroid pictures which I will pin to a board and then take a photo of to create a natural look as most modern artists do, it also emphasizes the process of making the album for the viewer so they can feel more involved and it is more personal.

The collage of photos will take up 4 pages of my digipak.

I will have lyrics of the song ‘where did I go?’ to promote the music video and album as a whole.

I will also include a midshot of the model as emeli sande has in her digipak.

The cd disk itself will with have a map of London on it or London signs

The back cover of my cd booklet will be simple – the colour of my front cover, as that is what most cd booklets do.

I have two ideas for my back cd cover either a side profile with the same background as my front cover the text wrapping around the model vertically or I will use a wide shot of the model playing the piano. It is quite unusual and really enforces the music element, so I will try both ideas and see what works best.
