Since our inception Corporate Social Responsibilityand Best Practice/reduced risk vehicle remarketinghas been at the heart of our business ethos. Fromday one The Fleet Auction Group adopted a businessmodel that eliminates the ease with which motorvehicles can be acquired without due diligence onbehalf of the seller.

Corporate Social Responsibility is now firmlyembedded into the legal system within the UK, withprecedents now calling to account private and publicsector organisations alike.

The cost of investigation into the legal ownership ofmotor vehicles that used in criminal or terroristactivities, in both financial and public relations terms, can be massive.

Our registered, bona fide trade-only buyers, wherebank account and VAT details are mandatory, and ourstrictly no cash sale policies, mean that all vehicles wesell have full accountability and onward traceability, factors that are considered Best Practice by privateand public sector fleet vendors alike.

We were the first vehicle remarketing company toplay an active role in the national police initiative toadvise large public and private sector organisationson security, counter-terrorism and crime preventionissues.

We have also been audited by the NHS SecurityManagement Service, Ambulance Sector CounterTerrorism & Security, who commended us on ourrobust remarketing policies to help eliminate thethreat of a blue light ex-NHS vehicle falling into thewrong hands.

When it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility andBest Practice, no vehicle remarketing company ismore committed than The Fleet Auction Group.

Corporate SocialResponsibility andBest Practice

FLAG and theFleet VendorOur B to B environment also stands for Back toBasics. Traditional concepts such as customerservice, professional integrity and a results drivenfocus are not forgotten at FLAG.

We believe that there are a number of keyperformance indicators by which we (and indeed ourcompetitors) should be measured:

Prices achieved

Conversion rates

Customer service levels

Pre-sale preparation

Pre-sale marketing

Auctioneering services

Post-sale reporting

Payments

These essential elements of any remarketingagreement are the benchmark by which we areconfident, and proud, to be judged. It should always beremembered that competitiveness also promotesbetter pricing and performance from existingsuppliers.

We believe that we have the most experiencedremarketing team in the UK, where even thedirectors of the company still take to the rostrum ona weekly basis. This ‘passion’ produces results, and itis results that help shape and forge beneficial, long-term client relationships.

Working inpartnershipIn the 21st century, ethical fleet vehicle remarketingrequires more than just a supplier contractorarrangement.

Like-minded companies are at their most efficient andeffective when they are working towards shared goals. This results-oriented culture is endemic to alloperational areas of FLAG and one that deliversindustry-leading residuals time after time.

To FLAG, partnerships mean mutual vision, effort andultimately benefit: non-delivery of agreed objectives isnot an option.

Our clients’ viewLee McCombie, Motability Operations’ National Trade Sales Manager;

“The Fleet Auction Group has been one of our topremarketing partners for well over three yearsnow, achieving some of the highest conversionrates and prices for our de-fleeted vehicles.”

Innovation has been at the heart of The Fleet AuctionGroup since its inception, and the creation of FLAGWorldwide builds on the company’s dynamicapproach to international vehicle remarketing.

Working in partnership with global vehicle shippingand logistics organisation Autohub, FLAG Worldwideis pioneering a unique on-line vehicle procurementfacility offering overseas dealers the opportunity topurchase premium quality UK vehicles at UK tradeprices.

The Fleet Auction Group’s background of over 10years’ experience in vehicle remarketing exclusively tothe motor trade, means that FLAG Worldwideunderstand the needs of the industry’s professionaldealers and their networks and is fully able to supportthem on a global supply scale.

FLAG Worldwide offers dealers the biggest choice ofquality vehicles direct from the UK’s largest fleetswith known provenance and quality guaranteed.

By arranging pre-departure clearance and logistics inthe UK, FLAG Worldwide also represents the fastestever supply chain route between the UK and thereceiving dealer country. This means that cars aredelivered into retail showrooms and potentially soldon quicker, thereby providing a faster return oninvestment.

Buying cars via FLAG Worldwide could not be simpler. On the FLAG Worldwide website trade buyers canview, and buy in real time, leased cars due forimmanent de-fleeting, safe in the knowledge that thevehicle they are buying will be delivered in aninternationally recognised standard of ready-to-retailcondition and quality.

FLAG WorldwideIn the highly competitive world of commercial vehicleremarketing The Fleet Auction Group has establisheditself as a well respected UK force having partneredmany leading Local Authority, Utility, Public and Privatesector organisations and fleets.

In line with FLAG’s own long term business expansionplans the company wanted to further develop itsheavy commercial and plant remarketing operations.Having seen a synergy with the commercialphilosophy of Protruck Auctions, The Fleet AuctionGroup acquired the company in July 2012.

The multi-million pound deal was designed to createthe UK’s leading independent provider of re-marketingservices for commercial vehicles and plant.

Over the past decade, Protruck Auctions hasestablished itself as a key player in the re-marketing oftrucks, trailers, vans and heavy plant for customers inthe UK and Europe, a position that is a perfect fit withFLAG’s own reputation and business ethos.

From its base in Belton near Doncaster, Protruck stillprovides physical onsite auctions with an onlinebidding facility, and standalone electronic auctions.

The acquisition has enabled The Fleet Auction Groupto offer a greater breadth and depth of service byproviding the infrastructure, management resourceand commercial firepower to deliver more auctions, and provide even greater choice to our customers.
